Capturing Chris 6

So a funny thing happened. I was standing in the kitchen washing dishes after having driven back from the boonies and as I reached for a beer mug that I don't remember using before I left the house... a shock of want washed over me.  Minemuse was whispering in my ear and ...and it was sooooooo hot. I was trembling. I dropped the mug in the sink and grasped the counter.  The things he was saying!!!

As a writer its not un heard of for me to be minding my own dammy and get an unexpected surge of creativity. Inspiration cums...er comes at the oddest times.

I had to clean up the broken glass from the sink and then rush to my lap top and give you this little update.   And when I'm done I'm going to call that irish hound and cuss him out.

As always, its not edited. sue me.

Agnes sat at the bar contemplating her cold coffee and unfinished breakfast for all of two seconds after Chris left.

Glancing at the clock gave her the courage she needed.

Eff this, No way was she about to be sitting here when Chris's Friend Mike showed up to check her out. Had he already been by and seen her in a state of undress while she was unconscious?  A groan of embarrassed agony clawed at her throat.

Thinking fast she headed for the back door. If she could get there before Chris  got back she could be across the yard and safely in her house...

"If you touch that door, I swear I'm going to lift that robe and tan your ass."
Chris's voice was deep and rumbling. It stopped her dead in her tracks ...not from fear of but from longing...If she took even one more step the honey of her rapidly melting core was going to run down her thighs and pool on the floor.

Agnes  just couldn't take it anymore.  This was her fantasy right? It was what she'd been dreaming of for years. Chris, commanding her... slaking her desires, professing his unending love.

"Agnes"  her name was like a prayer on his lips, His breath brushing the shell of her ear. His arms coming around her middle and pulling her back against him. when had he moved? why hadn't she heard him?  was that her nipple he was rolling between his fingers, Her neck he was laving with his tongue?

She swore she meant to push away from him, so why was she leaning back arching her back and pushing her breast further into his grasp.  Her breathing was ragged and then she felt it... his cock brushing the globes of her ass before settling in the crease between them.  The rumble of his lust  as he pressed against her humping slightly.

Chris pushed Agnes forward.  There steps shuffling and frantic until the were inches from the sliding glass door that lead to his back deck. He wanted her to touch that door, if for no other reason than to let him deliver on his promise.  He'd smack her ass until it glowed red with his hand prints as a he sunk deep into her and claimed her once and for all.

"Go ahead aingel. Touch it... touch . that. Door. " He growled each word into her hear before biting down on the lobe and then licking away the sting.
His heart was pounding and his dick throbbed where he was pressed against her ass.
He felt her shift, lifting her hand to brace her self against the frame of the door.  A pure animalistic growl vibrated in his throat.

"Do it...Do it" he demanded as he began to drag the cotton of up from her thigh. HIs palms itching with the need to...

"Yo! Christopher!"  Mike's voice called from the front door and broke in their trance. Agnes fell forward on a gasp. Her forehead resting against the glass of the door.

Chris cussed and drew in a deep breath, only to cuss again as her scent settled into his lungs.

"this isn't over agnes. I'm going to spank this ass and then kiss away the sting."

Chris stood with his chin resting on her head as he tried to calm his raging hard on.

I'll be right there " he called to mike, wincing at the gruffness of his own voice.

"I'm going to go talk to mike. Your clothes are on the table... get dressed and meet us in the living room.  don't run, Agnes, I'll only chase you."

It took all of his strength to pull his hands from her body and step back.  And it took the Gods to make him keep walking we he heard her soft "ok" float to him as he stepped into the hall way.

Capturing Chris 5

sometimes the muses speak a lot, sometimes its just a little... figured i'd share what they shared then go do something  else..like ...bake or something

Agnes sat staring at her plate and sending furitive glances at chris.
Her mind was racing with a million questions.
What in the hell just happened here?
How could he be cleaning the kitchen as if he didn’t just drop the biggest bomb in her lap?
Why was she even still sitting here?
Because you want him too.  The answer was clear. But the whys and the hows of it…could it be that simple?

“ It is that simple, Aggie.  We’ve danced around our attraction for a long time. We’ve never talked about it just not so mutually agreed to ignore it. And yes, you asked a question out loud.”  Chris turned from his task of cleaning to lean back against the sink, arms crossed over his chest.

Agnes furrowed her brow and looked down at her plate again, grateful, not for the first time that her skin tone hid her blushing nature.
Chris chuckled and walked forward.
“it only hides it from those who aren’t looking at you , Agnes. I’ve always seen you. And I love the way you blush.” His whisper was heavy and landen with something dark and sinful that went straight to her core.

Frustrated agnes shot him a scowl then dug into her breakfast. The only way to be sure she didn’t say anything else out loud was to make sure she kept her mouth busy.  She mental rolled her eyes…She’d love to keep her lips busy against that vein pulsing along the side of his thick neck, but in the mean time she’d better make due with bacon and pancakes before she found herself in whirlwind of trouble.

Chris laughed again, Agnes had NO pokerface and he could read her thoughts as clear as if it were the words written in one of his favorite novels. There was a lot to discuss but he knew he’d need time for her to gather her thoughts.
Reaching into the junk drawer  he pulled out a note pad and pen.
“ here…make a list of all your questions and we’ll talk about it later. I’m going to get your clothes from the dyrer and then get dressed. Mike is gonna come over in about an hour and check your head. And then we’ll talk ok.”  Chris tossed the note pad and pen down on the counter within her reach.

He searched her face noting  the dark bruise above her right eye and the nervous twinkle in the bottomless orbs.
Leaning in he lightly cupped her check and before kissing that bruise.

“there is so much to talk about and say and feel,   I know it seems sudden but we’’ve  been running to this for years. I’ll wait, but I’m not going to change my mind agnes. Its you. Its always been you.”  Rising he walked away and he prayed that she wouldn’t dash out the back door and into her own home while he was changing.

Capturing Chris 4

Its fall! And I’ve been thinking, the chill in the air calls for something…hot and warm and tingly.  I hope this does it.  Also, I know you’ve been waiting…and so have I.  Its all a process, so I’m very sorry when these updates don’t come quickly. But I do hope you enjoy it enough to stick around.  MineMuse, himself, has been verra verra busy. So I haven't actually had the contact with him I needed to channel this story.  I finally got a brief moment to chat with him this past week and well... as you can see...it was lucrative.  As always, please forgive the editing faux pas,  this story is presented exactly as if flew from my fingers.

Chris leaned against the bedroom door and listened with a smile as Agnes grumbled and made  her way to the bathroom.  Looking down into the three set of canine eyes staring back at him he chuckled.
“Aye, boys. Aggie is feeling a bit grouchy, but we’ll fix that, right?  Let’s go you mongrels, out of the door so I can get our lady something to ease her head and then spring the plan on her.”  Chris shepherded the dogs out into the back yard and went about making breakfast. The entire time his mind drifting back to the way Agnes looked curled in his sheets and even more so the way she curved her body around his when he sat on the edge the bed and rested his cool hand against her forehead.
He’d only meant to rouse her and insure that her head injury wasn’t more serious, but the trusting way she’d nestled against him and pressed her face into his hand caused him to pause and really take her in.
Agnes held her own special brand of attractiveness.  She was short and full of curves that Chris more than appreciated, when the sheet and slid down a bit and revealed the swell of her breast he caught his breath as he watched it rise softly and the fall again.  He couldn’t say how long he sat there staring, transfixed by the rhythm of her slumbering breath, but he knew that he’d watched in longing, praying that the sheet would slip lower and reveal her satin covered nipple.  His mouth had watered and he’d forced himself to stand and walk over to the large wingback  chair under the window and take up the rock glass of whiskey he’d abandoned there when he entered the room. He sat, slouched low with knees splayed to give his stirring member room and watched her, hungrily for hours while she slept.

The sound of the bedroom door opening brought him back to the present, and reminded him that if he were going to proposition the lovely Miss Agnes, he’d do well to present her with a feast to ease the way.
Washing his hand at the sink he turned his attention to finishing preparing the meal he’d began before he’d heard her stirring before.

Agnes found chris in the kitchen, still shirtless and barefoot, humming softly to himself while flipping pancakes over a griddle.  She wasn’t sure what made her mouth water more, the tantalizing smells of bacon and coffee that filled the room  or the sight of his finely honed muscles.

She jumped slightly when he looked over his shoulder at her and smiled.  With a tilt of his head he said “ pull up a seat” before sliding a plate filled with food towards her on the island counter.
Anges sat and stared at the plate, waiting until Chris had filled one for himself and then  joined her, before placing her hand on the table palm upwards.   Her breath caught when he quickly placed his hand in hears and his deep voice offerd up a soft prayer of thanks. With a slight squeeze and a lingering of fingers the “amened” and dug in

“ SO what do you want, Christopher” Agnes said between bites of jam and butter slatherd toast and sips of hot coffee.

“why should I want anything. I could just be feeding you because you know, I felt bad that you walked into a two by four and knocked yourself out in my back yard.”

“ a point of fact, Chris, I didn’t walk into that two by four, you hit me with it. A second point of fact, we’ve been neighbors for several years and friends for the entirety of that time, when you want something outrageous, you feed me. So, what do you want AND where are my clothes.”

Agnes, sat her coffee mug on the counter and tried hard to adopt a no nonsense look.  She let her eyes drift briefly to Chris’ face taking in the pale ginger scruff on his jaw. He hadn’t shaved when he’d been in the shower earlier. Her breath hitched a moment when he licked a bread crumb from his lip. She brought her eyes back to his and had to fight not to look away when she realized he’d been watching her watch him.

“you Agnes,”

Agnes Blinked a couple of times and the shook her head. Really, she must have honestly knocked something loose.

“Come again”
The question came out like a breathless squeak and a flush rushed up her skin.

“you asked what I wanted, I answered.  We’ve been friends for ever. For as long as we’ve been neighbors. And that whole time I’ve wanted the same thing Aggie.  You.  In my arms, in my bed, on this kitchen counter.  I want you…not just as my friend who lives next door and fosters my dogs when I’m away.
I want you on long walks and holiday gatherings and trips to Ireland to see my ma and da.  I want you across the table when I eat and with your legs wrapped around my head screaming your pleasure when …I…eat.”

The passion in Chris’ voice stole robbed her of the ability to the think. He didn’t move, didn’t slow his ministrations as he finished he breakfast, he just …monologued her…and damned if her thighs weren’t soaked with the evidence of how much that declaration turned her on.

“eat your breakfast aingel” Chris’ voice deepened into his native brogue as he nodded to ward her plate of unfinished food. “your going to need all your strength.”

Agnes, still shocked, could do nothing more than lift her fork in her hand, but she’d be damned if she could actually place a bite of food in her mouth.

“chris…” she said on a determined sigh her gaze meeting his again.
She couldn’t process …anything… out of the blue her friend had just admitted that he wanted all the things she’d wanted and had wanted them for the same amount of time that she had.  She had questions and doubts and…
“I have questions.”  She stated sharply.

Chris chuckled. “and I have answers, but for now….eat.” He squeezed her hand before getting up to put his plate in the sink and pour her another cup of coffee.

Probably wasn't what you came here looking for

I honestly can't remember when I wrote this... when ever an un birthday treat was first released...this came after that....i tend to drop it like an easter egg every year...some where random in october.... this year... I'm posting it every where I can....

no fancy font.   no  music intro.... just this.

It was nearly Christmas. You could smell the holiday in the air. Frost

and snow covered everything outside and inside the house was filled with

tantalizing aromas of ham slow roasting with a honey glaze. The fire was

bright and cackling and all the traditional decorations for Christmas were

artfully placed by three well meaning, if over excited bundles of joy. One

would expect to hear the children clamering down the hallway, glasses or

mugs clicking in toast, laugter and conversation. Yes, thats what one would

expect, but the opposite was true. The room was warm but silent, save for the

occasional ruffle of clothing or sniffle as someone held back tears.

Tomas sat with their youngest son Graham on his lap. He stared in wonder at

the curly brown head. How could they have just celebrated his arrival here

and then today be mourning the loss of his Godmother. As the last of the

guest walked out the front door, He raised his head to look at his wife of 10

years. Eloise was beautiful to him, even in her mourning, she radiated love

and warmth. Tomas knew she was missing her close friend, but she'd opened her

arms and their home to Angeline's family and other friends. She made herself

their center, their port of call during this harsh time, when one should have

been emersed in festivaties. Angeline and Elois had lived life like twins.

Adventures, love all of it had been intertwined. It had been devasting to

both women when Angie had learned too late she'd had breast cancer. Elois had

raged. How could someone so smart, so intellegent not have regular check ups.

But Angie had lived life for the next rush. Moving from one epic adventure to

the other, with out ever having so much as a common cold. When she'd began

to fill sick and not have any strength, she and Eloise argued nightly about

her need to go to the doctor. She'd been over to visit with the kids when she

passed out in the kitchen. Little Graham had run to his brothers, insisting

the twins help he with his angel. THe older boys thought he'd ment the angel

for the christmas tree. At six the twins thought they were grown and had

decided they could replace the ornament theirselves. When they went to the

kitchen to get a chair on which to stand, they found the fallen angel that

had graham in tears. They'd dialed 911 and then called Tomas home explaining

that Auntie Angel was sleeping on the floor in the kitchen and their cookies

were burning in the oven. Here they were on the eve of Christmas eve. Missing

one of the Key elements of the season. Of their lives. The cancer that had

resided in Angeline's breast had been slowly spreading through out her body.

Her sudden decline in health was the result of it taking over the last of

her organs. The doctors had been powerless to save her. Any treatment would

only add to her agonizing pain. The doctors had taken a moment to speak with

each female present at the hospital, ensuring them that if they but only test

regularly most their lives could be saved. Had Angeline gone to any of the

hundreds of appointments she'd scheduled then cancelled her life may have

been spared. But what ifs adn should haves were pointless.

Rising slowly he walked with Graham toward's Eloise and wrapped her into his

arms with their son. Standing for a moment he inhaled, just relishing this

time, burning it into his memory and willing Elois to do so as well.

"Hey Alice, lets put this little mouse to bed and have a rest, twiddle dee

and dum will be home tomorrow and it will be full steam ahead"

He guided his love down the hall, stopping briefly to put Graham to bed.

Removing his miniture suit he smiled as the child curled into his side.

Graham cuddled the teddy bear that Angeline had just given him for his

birthday and snuffled out a little sigh. Elois pulled the blankets up over

the baby and ran her finger through his curls. Love and sadness poured from

her eyes.

Arm and arm Tomas and Eloise made their way down the hall to their room. Once

inside Tomas sat Elois on the edge of the bed and slowly removed her clothes.

As he removed each shoe he massaged her stocking covered feet, before easing

the dark nylons offer her legs and wadding them up. He had Elois stand before

him and he lifted the simple black sheath dress over head and tossed it too

onto the floor. He made short work of her black bra then wrapped her his

flannel pajama top. Pushing slightly he guided her back on to the bed, then

gathered her discarded clothes and tossed them into the hamper. Tomas changed

into his own pajamas and tee shirt before starting the fire in their hearth

and climbing into bed..

As soon as he settled back against the head board Eloise climbed into his lap

and wiggled her way between his legs with her back to his front. Once she

was settled she leaned her dark head back against his shoulder and nuzzled

her nose into the side of his neck. They sat that way gazing into the flames.

Each reflecting on thier life and their blessings.

After a time Eloise began to open the button on the pajama top. She kept

her gaze forward so she didnt' see the questioning look one Tomas's face.

When she had every button undone, she placed her hands on Tomas's and slowly

brought them up her torso to rest inside the shirt on her breast. Once his

hands where in place, she raised her arms futher over her head and then

linked her fingers behind Tomas's neck. At this angle her breast were thrust

out futher into Tomas's hands. Understanding came slowly, but it came and

Tomas began to slowly move his fingers over her velvety coal skin. He touched

her with reverance and love, but he touched her slowly and firmly, relearning

the curves of her breast. The breast that had not only nursed and comforted

his sons, but himself. He commited the weight and shape to his mind, to the

very molecular make up of his fingers and palms. He spent what cold have been

hours with his eyes closed and his fingers molding and shaping the heavy

flesh. Finaly when, he felt Eloise release her linked hands and bring her

arms down. He stopped his ministrations and wrapped her in his arms. Turning

slowly, Tomas rolled them to one side and tucked her in close to his body.

FInally they slept

Capturing Chris 3

The sounds of water running and snoring brought Agnes awake. And as soon as her brain registered that wakeful state, a bass drum started thumping within.

Breathing deeply and slowly to offset the pain, Agnes cracked one eye…and was meet with the slurping of a tongue that that covered her entire face.

Turning her head to the side she rubbed her face against the pillows and willed herself not to panic.
“What hit me?”
She groaned grasping her head. She would have attempted to sit up but a very large very heavy muzzle was resting on her chest pinning her down and blowing hot doggie breath in her face.

In her mind Agnes tried to replay the last things she could remember. Walking home, taking a short cut through Chris’s yard. Then lights out.

Opening one eye confirmed her suspicions. The beast resting on her was Chris’ great dane bull mastiff mix Scooby. With both eyes open she stared into his one giant sad eye and sighed.

“Ok, Scoobs… move”
When the dog whimpered but made no attempt to stop using her breast as a pillow, Agnes sighed deeply, then wished she hadn’t.

“Scooby, come on bud, I can’t breathe here” She struggled.  With energy she didn’t have, she struggled to scoot up on the bed. Scooby however remained seated and thus his head was now in her lap.

Shaking her head slowly and clutching the sheet to her breast, Agnes acknowledged the two beast standing guard at the foot of the bed.
Ruff (a Caucasian Shepherd) and  Marmaduke ( an Italian Cane Corso)  eyed her over the top of the massive foot board and she knew instinctively that they were standing , waiting for her to give permission to join her .

Which she might have done if she weren’t still trying to a) dislodge scooby’s face from its positions dangerously close to her crotch and b) figure out where the hell her clothes were.

“Ok boys, how about you go play while I find my clothes.   Shoo, ummm roll over … play dead… MOVE.”

Neither dog budged.

The sound of the water running that she’d recognized earlier was playing havoc on her bladder and the pain in her head was starting to increase.
A quick peek under the blanket revealed that she’d only been stripped down to her underwear. If she could just dislodge the massive great dane ( which was proving impossible because he’d decided she was moving too much and had slowly started inching his massive body over her lap on the bed)  she could make a break for the bathroom she knew was across the hall.

Thinking quickly Agnes gave another series of commands none of them spurred the dogs to move.
Groaning she leaned her head back against the tufted head board and tried to think of things to take her mind off the pressing need to pee.

Comfortable, well as comfortable as one could be under the weight of a nearly 200 lb great dane, Agnes closed her eyes and focused on the sound of the dogs’ heavy breathing and the whir of the ceiling fan. It wasn’t long before she began to drift back to sleep. But in those few seconds before darkness could take hold the should of water running shut off and the door where she’d thought was a closet opened. At the soft click she opened her eyes and lost her breath.
The sight of Chris standing, dressed only in a pair of baggy shorts with a towel draped over his shoulders caused her heart to sputter. The rapid beating of her heart kicked that bass drum n her head into over drive and Agnes moaned in both lust and pain.

In moments, Chris crossed the room and sat on the opposite side of the bed.

“Are you ok?”

“Can’t feel my legs”

“What, why can’t you feel your legs”
Agnes would have laughed at the harried look on Chris’s face, but laughing would probably cause her to pee right there in his sumptuous bed.

“Because your dog is cutting off the circulation”

Chris’ strawberry blonde eye brows leapt up his face and his arctic gaze widened.

A glance down  at Scooby, who had now fully worked himself onto the bed and was laying with his body running from her feet to her waist, essentially trapping, his new favorite “toy” in place, had him laughing.

“Ok, Scooby, you’ve done your job, You can let her up now.”  Chris spoke to the hound.  Scooby however ignored his master and let out a deep sigh before snuggling deeper and forcing himself between Agnes’ legs.
“Yeah, I already tried that.  What did you do tell them to guard or something.”

“Actually, yeah.”  Chris said…a bit of laughter still present in his voice.

“Wow, really, did you think I was going to wake up and attack you in the shower?”  Agnes asked opening her eyes again and petting Scooby, slightly scratching behind one big ear and receiving what could only be classified as a doggy grin for her efforts.  Marmaduke and Ruff leaned further over the foot board as if they were about to climb in the bed and demand she pet them too.
“One could only dream” Chris whispered. The sound was so low Agnes nearly missed it.

“Well, as lovely as this little moment has been. I really can’t feel my legs” She spoke choosing to pretend she hadn’t heard his declaration.
“And before we get buried under 400 additional pounds of k-9, I really have to pee.”

Chris cocked his head to the side and studied her face for a moment. Then standing he walked to the door and spoke firmly but quietly to the dogs. All three whimpered as if to say “oh man, dad, you never let us have any fun” and filed out of the room.

“What did you say to make them move? I don’t even know what language that was.”

“I told them to release my woman and go play.  In Irish.” Chris stated calmly. Agnes swallowed so hard that she was sure the gulp was audible.  Chris never released her gaze.

“Go to the bathroom, Agnes…I’m going to walk the dogs and we’ll talk when I return.”
He gave her one final look over his shoulder then followed the dogs from the room and closed the door behind.

Agnes wasn’t sure how long she sat staring at the door, stunned. When she stood to make her way to the bathroom she began to grouse “Go to the bathroom, Agnes. We’ll talk later. What does that even mean? Who is he to tell me what to do like I’m one of those dogs? I’m going to the bathroom, but only because I have to pee, and then I’m going home. I obviously hit my head WAY to hard.”

Capturing Chris 2

Chris cursed as he tossed the length of wood he'd been carrying over his shoulder to the ground. A few brief strides brought him to his neighbor’s side. He crouched down to where she'd fallen after being hit in the head with the offending piece of lumber.   A quick glance and a cursory check with his fingers over her bald head told him there was no bleeding but she was going to have a pair of matching goose eggs, and a hell of a head ache.

She'd taken him totally by surprise when she'd stepped through that gate. One that he often times himself forgot.  It had been a long time since anyone used it. In fact Agnes was the only person who used it and only on the rare occasions that she was walking through the neighborhood and wanted to avoid their crotchety neighbor and his vicious lab rat of a dog.

In the dog days of summer, she hadn't been walking as much.  In fact she hadn't taken a short cut through his yard since... the night he'd been standing under the stars naked.

On a sigh Chris quickly lifted her and made quick work of carrying her into his house. It was too hot to be in the sunshine and she looked as if she'd had more than her fair share of the heat.

Once he was sure she was o.k., he'd walk her home.
Chris took the steps up leading up to the back deck quickly pushed open the sliding glass door that lead into the eat in kitchen.   The moment his foot hit the tiles three, four legged, behemoths raced to his side. Tales wagging and ears perked in curiosity.
"Move boys, I'll let you check on your friend later, but first we have to make sure she is o.k."

He led the way to his bedroom feeling as if he were the grand-master leading a parade, the dogs following behind him in single file.

Despite his worry a small smile tickled his face as Agnes stirred and snuggled her face more deeply into chest.  The scent of her perfume and sweat wafted up to him when she moved.  Again he noted that her body felt overly warm in his arms.  Cooling her off and making sure that she'd no damage for the heat or being knocked unconscious were his first priorities.

In his room he gently placed her on the high, plush bed.  He paused a moment to take her in. His sister had joked that he had purchased a princess bed, but Chris believed in comfort. His job in the military often put him in places were the only place to rest his head was scorching sand.  When he was home he wanted to be able to snuggle into the softness of her arms...  "Where did that come from” Chris spoke to himself at the thought. He'd meant he wanted to be able to snuggle into.... another glance at his charge and he knew is mind had be right.  Sure the soft blankets and pillows of his bed were comfortable and inviting, but nothing on earth could be as soft and giving and being wrapped in the curves of his short neighbor.

She'd once called him tall, but he wasn't really, not by normal standards...she was just a bit on the short side.  And packed with curves that facinated him, from her high cheek bones and cupids bow of a mouth to her large eyes and the shells of her ears.
Chris took Agnes in;  she looked so small, yet so womanly on. Her Dark brown skin stood out in relief against he cream colored sheets.

Suddenly she sighed and rolled over away from him, rubbing her cheek against his pillow before settling comfortable into sleep. He knew he should wake her, make sure that she didn't have a concussion, but the sight of her tucked into his bed looking so dangerously innocent and so seductively sweet stalled him. His eyes settled on the plump curve of her her as. Watching as the muscles flexed adn relaxed  while she kicked off her shoes and settled herself even more comfortably on to the bed.

"Agnes" he whispered her name while leaning closely in.  "Agnes, do you hurt anywhere?"

She nodded her head never opening her eyes.

"Tell me where it hurts."

Agnes moaned and a lifted a hand to her temple.
"Your head hurts?"
Another deep sigh and a slight nod

"Anything else?"

Agnes rolled over and whispered “feet hurt” but never opened her eyes.   Chris could tell that she was talking through both pain and the dregs of exhaustion.

"Ok love, one more thing and I’ll let you rest. Can you open your eyes for me Agnes?"

A frown puckered her brow but she did as he asked. She opened her eyes and Chris was struck with clear and bright the brown pools were.

"Agnes, do you know where you are?"

"Your house."

"Do you know who I am?"

"Chris."

"Can you tell me, what happened?"

"Hurts."

"What hurts, Agnes?"

Chris watched as she seemed to contemplate his question. Slowly, she lifted her hand and placed it over her heart, then closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep.

Capturing Chris

Well, I know you’ve been waiting on me to tease you all again for a while now. A funny thing happened.  Ok, its not really funny. It sort of made me cry. After my last conversation with the muse, I typed up about a thousand words.  This was going to be one steamy  lil something something.  And then it happened. My laptop had a complete meltdown. It was an epic combination of ghosts in the machine and user errors.  Things just malfunctioned. I highlighted the text on a note pad and instead of copying them , I cut them.  Then when I finally recovered them the system crashed. It took hours to get it restarted, and wouldn’t you know it those thousand words plus 15k of another storey WHERE GONE, (despite the fact that I’d been copying everything into an email , I had yet to hit SEND) .  I feel in to a funk. A complete depression.  No lie. I was already sick and this…was just the germ that laughed in the face of all modern medicine. I cried. I puked. I prayed. I begged and finally, I gave up and went to bed.

Since then I’ve made some epic decisions about where I’m going as a writer.  What I want to do in the future.   And today I’m feeling a lot better and a little more confident in my choices.  So I give you… Chris….well ok we all know I’m not giving you “CHRIS” but you know this completely random and unedited manifestation of MineMuse… or at least the beginning of it.

Catching Chris......
Agnes wiped the sweat from her brow as she tried desperately to think of something other than the heat.  For at least the fifteenth time in ten minutes, she cursed her own stupidity. How could she have left the lights on in her car when she'd parked it at the train station?  How could she have forgotten to charge her cell phone that morning during the entire 8 hours she'd been at work? Why hadn't she taken advantage or the "casual holiday" and worn trainers instead of these office appropriate pointed toe kitten heels that while beyond admirable in the air-conditioned space of her desk, were going to leave serious blisters from where her feet were sliding around in the twin patent leather swamps.

"In the trash.  As soon as I get home, these shoes are going in the trash"

Agnes would have wrinkled her nose at the thought of how horrible those shoes were going to smell, and what a shame that would be after the small fortune she'd spent on their red tipped leopard print cuteness, but she just happened to walk up on an entire tree laying across the side walk.

In all honesty Agnes knew it wasn't a whole tree, but a significant portion of a tree.

Taking a moment Agnes weighed her options.  She was only two houses from home, climbing over the tree in her skinny jeans and kitten heels was obviously the quickest shortest route home, However after hiking three miles from the train in the sweltering heat and humidity, there was no way she was going to lift her "lush" (Agnes really was starting to like the word lush as descriptor for her more than generous curves) thighs over that tree.

That meant she had to go around.  If she headed toward the street she'd actually have to navigate past several houses with unruly dogs before crossing back over to her own house. No way in hell she was going to avoid kicking Mr.Pinkerston  or his damn mini pin if either of them bothered her today. She wasn't in the mood.

That left the final choice. go around the end of the large branch that still seemed to somehow be connected to the tree. That would put her in the position to need to step over the low decorative fence and then she'd have to circle the tree to the side gate hidden by the overgrown bushes delineating the property lines.  That Gate would lead her right into Chris' back yard.

Chris.... Tall, pale, lean, handsome Chris.   Agnes' heart and breathing both speed up.  She hadn't seen Chris since well the last time she'd SEEN HIM.  Standing naked, bathed in moonlight in his back yard.

He hadn’t been doing anything...well walking those beast he called dogs, but he'd been completely, gloriously naked.
And she'd been entranced. So much so that she had no clue how long she'd been staring down at him, categorizing every inch of his creamy skin and heavy sex.  Had no clue what alerted her to the fact that he was staring right back at her. A small half smile hitching the left side of his mouth.

Taking another deep breath Agnes squared her shoulders, decision made. A glance at her watch bolstered her confidence.  Chris would still be away for at least another hour, no danger of running into him or the dogs if she took the short cut through his back yard to hers.

No sooner than she stepped through the boxwood bushes to push open the tall gate did she regret her choice. Well she would have, if she hadn't been knocked out cold.
